Google Inc. has long been a lightening rod for heated discussion regarding the subject of privacy in an increasingly public world. This has become even more true in the aftermath of the Google Buzz fiasco. Should we be afraid of Google’s lack of concern for their customers’ privacy? Or perhaps, did an unintentional mistake on behalf of the search engine giant teach us something important about just how aware our society really is of privacy issues after all?
